State Envirothon
On May 20th
and the 21st two Southwestern High School (SWHS) Envirothon teams competed at
the state level. The teams tested in the areas of Aquatics, Forestry, Soil, Wild
Life, Current Issues, and oral presentation. SWHS Team B placed 9th in the
state, while Team A placed 2nd. and also team A achieved the highest score in
soils. Participating
in the State Envirothon was Jacob Brock, Paige Carter, Tyler Denham, Katelyn
Dodson, Clarice Esch, Caitlin Flynn, Joanna Myers, Adrian Tapp, Morgan Tapp,
Ashley Walden, and Lexis Wilson.
